Former AZGOP Treasurer Sheila Muehling

Three bad decisions that have drained the party's funds

It was a great honor to have former AZGOP Treasurer Sheila Muehling on my show. Sheila has a wealth of experience and knowledge about the party’s recent history and its finances.

We discussed three major mistakes that have been made in the last 18 months that have drained the party of much-needed funds:

  1. The Bus: a bus was rented and wrapped with graphics to promote Kari Lake, Abe Homadeh, and Blake Masters and a production company hired to document the final three days of the election. This cost over $200,000 with little tangible benefit to the party or the candidates.

  2. A lavish election night party costing nearly $400,000 paid for an planned for weeks, expecting a victory that didn’t come.

  3. An office condo was purchased for nearly $2M with very poor transparency and documentation of expenses from current AZGOP Treasurer Elijah Norton.

Below are the only three payments from AZGOP to Arizona Freedom Center, LLC, which owns the building. There are no known reports detailing how these funds were distributed.
