In January 2023, Kari Lake endorsed the radical Disruptor executive slate for Maricopa County Republican Committee (MCRC) led by Shelby Busch and Craig Berland. Tatiana Pena was one of only two to get elected who were not endorsed by Lake.
Tatiana was elected to MCRC 2nd Vice Chair after knocking on over 20,000 doors over the course of two excellent campaigns for state house in a deeply blue South Phoenix district.
She has repeated fought for her party, especially in her legislative district, LD 11. But the leadership of LD 11 and MCRC have consistently sought to destroy her politically and personally.
